MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING. GOOD SCORES AT HAWERA. Some good shooting took place at the weekly meeting of the Hawera Miniature Rifle Club, The ladies’ button was won by Mrs. F. Rae with a score of 47, tho men’s button by G. Harding with a scoro of 48, and the junior button by A. Booth, who also compiled 48. J. Vinten’e team retained the team bnttone. . The club trophy was fired for and the result will bo made known when tho handicaps are brought out. The next shoot has been arranged for Tuesday evening, -when Mr. A. Elgar’s challenge cup will be fired for. As visiting team shoots commence shortly, it is anticipated that future meetings should see a largo number of dub members atlsiduouflly practising.
