PURCHASE OF SYDNEY PAPER
APPEAL TO FULL COURT FAILS. APPELLANT SERIOUSLY ILL. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. . Sydney, June 5. The Full Court, dismissed the appeal of A. E. Dalwood against the Equity Court verdict that he should pay £27,000 on account of a certain transaction arising from his purchase of an interest in the Sunday Times from H. M. Mclntosh. On learning of the decision Dalwood collapsed and became seriously ill. It is understood that the staff of the Sunday Times, which is in the receiver’s hands, have been notified that the paper will not appear again unless a purchaser is found before the week-end.
