CARE OF CHILDREN’S TEETH
WEAKNESS IN NEW ZEALAND.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 10. Speaking at the opening of the Auckland School Dental Clinic the Minister of Health' (the Hon. A. J. Stall worthy) eaid that it was remarkable that the poor waifs of London were having better teeth than the average New Zealand child. It appeared that parents in this country were spoiling their children by mistaken kindness School dental clinics alone could not solve the problem; dietetic values needed also to- be considered. At present the gap between the well-nourished Plunket baby and the .child of five years entering school in a shocking dental condition required to be filled by th; inculcation of better principles of health building.
