By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.
London, May 8.
Lieut.-Colonel Sir Talbot Hobbs, formerly of the Australian Army Corps, made a tour of the war graves ’ in Egypt, Gallipoli, France and Belgium and found the cemeteries splendidly maintained. “The personal interest iof the guardians is most touching,” he said. “It was a labour of love. I am unable to praise too highly the Eastern department, where the difficulties of dealing with Turks and Russians demand the utmost tact.”
