EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS
BRILLIANT OPENING PAGEANT. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 10.45 p.m. Tunis, May 8. The pageantry of Rome challenged the glamour of the East at the reception to Cardinal Lepicier, Papal legate, marking the opening of the Eucharistic Congress. The procession was headed by 10 cardinals and 120 bishops, who were greeted by Government and military officials in Cathedral Square.
