Messrs J. Power, G. E. Jago, A. R. Standish and F. Wallis have returned to New Plymouth after a highly successful shooting and fishing expedition at the back of Taupo.
The directors of the Press Association yesterday appointed Mr. A, B. Lane, news editor of the Christchurch Times and Star, manager in succession to Mr. W. 11. A tack, whose approaching retirement was recently announced.
Mr. G. Myhill, of Eltham, was farewelled by his friends on Wednesday evening prior to his departure for New Plymouth.
