BAKERS MAKE NO COMMENT. I. . ‘ FANCY BREAD REGULATIONS. “Not a word! Not a syllabic!” was "the reply of Mr. W. A. Kellow, president of the Master Bakers’ Federation, Wellington, when asked whether he could say anything with regard to the termination of the arrangement between the Health Department and the .Master Bakers’ Federation which had enabled bakers to sell loaves of various weights less than 21b. “There has been quite enough said already,” added Mr. Kellow. When asked further about fancy loaves, possible changes in equipment or the master bakers’ policy in general, Mr. Kellow still would not speak. “Beyond having seen'it in the paper this morning,” he said, “nothing has been done yet about the matter. We can’t talk about it until we’ve thought about it, can we?" . z ,
“Oh, yes,” lie added, “there’ll be a meeting of the federation, 1 suppose. We may be able to make some statement next week, but until then, T am not saying anything.”
