APPROVAL OF SALE SOUGHT
PRIVATE BILL SUGGESTED.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, May 1.
The trustees of the estate of the late Alexander Hatrick, - Wanganui, recently sought the approval of the Supreme Court to tlxe sale by them of a warehouse site in Wanganui, which the testator had directed should not be sold for less than £3'0,000. The Chief Justice in his judgment today said he was not prepared to make the order asked for. The trustees, however, had acted quite properly in coming to tho court. His Honour expressed the opinion that the proper method of obtaining such authority as that sought was by a private estate Bill.
