HURWORTH FOOTBALL CLUB
MEMBERS’ ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the jHurworth Football Club was held in the Hurworth hall on April 29. Mr. • Adlam presided. The financial statement for tho past season showed a credit balance of £2 fe fid. Officers elected were: Patron, Mr. Seed; president, Mr. Adlam; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs. P. Gilbert, V. Baird, C. C. Gilbert, F. Baker, L. Wienewski, H. Farmer, S. Lovegrove, B. Allen, R. Gilbert, R. Womls. Mr. Keith Webb was re-elected aeeretary.
Subscriptions were fixed the game as last year, and le each for junior players.
Mr. Baird’s offer of a challenge cup between the teams was accepted with acclamation. The conditions attaching to the cup will be fixed by the club. A vote* of thanks was accorded the ladies for their assistance during the season. The meeting passed a motion of sympathy with Mr. Craneton Gilmour in his illneee. Air. Gilmour is the New Plymouth Amateur Athletic Club popular captain who led his team against Hurworth on two occasions last’ season. A friendly match, Carrington and Frankley KoaJh versus Mangorci will be played at Hurworth on May 11 at 3.80 p.m. '
