TO BRING BACK BANKRUPT
CONSTABLE LEAVING FOR SYDNEY.
In order to bring back Bert Thomas, who is alleged to have absconded with £l3OO in his pocket while owing his creditors £450, Constable S. Davis will leave New Plymouth this morning to catch th ! e Ulimaroa at Wellington for Sydney. He will return by the same ship to Auckland. In the Police Court yesterday the necessary formal evidence was given by Mr, J. S. S. Medley (Deputy Official Assignee), James McNeill and Samuel Oliver (creditors), H. Gilmore Smith (registrar of tlie Supreme Court) and Cyril Lash (New Plymouth Savings Bank).
