NEVI PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW.

The attention of readers is drawn to an advertisement appearing hi'.'.this issue announcing the 21st annual winter iffiow of the Taranaki Metropolitan Agricultural Society, which will be held at New Plymouth on June 10, 11, 12 and 13. Schedules are- now available and may be had free on application to the secretary (Mr. W. P. Okey), Box 18, New. Plymouth. Many new and interesting classes have been added this year, in-, dicating that the officials of the showare keeping abreast of the times. In this connection the womenfolk will appreciate the introduction of an aits and crafts section containing 23 classes. The growing popularity of Angora and Chinchilla rabbits has prompted the society to include a number of classes for them. The schedule of the poultry division is a most., attractive one, and provides classes for all breeds of poultry, ducks, pigeons and canaries, all liberally endowed with cash prizes, specials and tropiliies. Schedules for the New Plymouth Kennel Club’s annual show, to be held in conjunction with the winter show, are now in the- printer’s hands and should be released in a few days’ time. Dog fanciers who would like a copy sent to them are requested to. forward their names and addresses. Entries for all sections, except the schools’ divisions, close on Friday, May 23.
