CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER
MOTORIST ALLEGEDLY : DRUNKEN.

Christchurch, April 24.
William Albert Parsons, Amberley, was charged at Kaiapoi to-day with being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car and fey act or omission causing tho death of Henry Gilbert Hancock, a eyelist, aged 38. He was remanded till May 7. Bail was allowed.
