INTERNATIONAL AIR ROUTES
APPEAL MADE FOR ■ CO-OPERATION
DR. ECKENER GIVES REASONS.
By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.
London, April 24. Dr. Hugh Eckener, commander of the Graf Zeppelin, had a long talk with the Duke of York at York House this afternoon. In the evening he broadcast an appeal for international co-operation in airship travel. He was convinced, Dr. Eckener said, that in the near future there would be airships dying regularly over every ocean. The nations ought to combine in providing landing, fuelling and pickup places. His high regard for the English made him most anxious for British co-operation in the establishment of an international airship service.
