Rec. 5.5 p.m. London, April 24. The foreshadowed appointment of the Australian Sir Isaac Isaacs as GovernorGeneral of Australian means a constitutional revolution, the Daily News points out. The report has caused surprise in London and embarrassment at the Dominion Office, where complete ignorance is professed. What is causing comment, the paper adds, is the report that the post has been offered to anyone, presumably’ by the Australian Government, thus putting aside all pre .Mcnts and convention.
