KAMO SPRINGS HOTEL CASE. Bs Teljgraph.—Presa Association. Auckland, April 10. Justice Sir Alexander Herdman to-day delivered his decision that the’ Marsden licensing committee had no jurisdiction to issue a publican’s license for the Kamo Springs Hotel. He declared that the license was not renewed in 1917, and when granted in June, 1929, it had been dead for 12 years. Dealing with the argument that the law permits the resurrection of a license, the judge said that the proceedings might be taken at the first annual meeting after forfeiture or non-renewal, but, in this ease, that time had long since expired. He therefore granted the application made by two electors of Marsden for a writ of certiorari to quash the committee’s certificate;
