Palmerston N., Jan. 16. At the croquet tourney Mrs. E. Simpson (Taharo, Palmerston North) beat Mrs. Boek (Lower Hutt) in the final of the handicap singles, 5 bisques under, 28—24. In the ladies’ championship results arc: —•
First life.—Second round: Mrs. Waters beat Mrs. Bock, 26—7.' Third round: Mrs. Tiffen beat Mrs. Bartlett, 26—18; Mrs. Waters beat Mrs. Gambrill, 26—21. Fourth round: Mrs, Kibblewhite beat Mrs. Tiffen, 26—23. Second life. —Second round: Mrs. Mouat beat Mrs. Gambrill, 26 —24. Third round: Mrs. Mouat beat Mrs. Robertson, 26 —13. Fourth round: Mrs. Mouat beat Mrs. Bartleet, 26—14.
