GRIM DISCOVERY IN BATH
ELDERLY MAN SLASHES WRIST.

An elderly man, Harold Sims, aged 59, attempted suicide by cutting his wrist with a jaaor in a bathroom in the staff quarters of tho Grand Hotel on Sunday morning. Tho chef found Sims in a bath half full of blood and water. The police were called and removed the man to hos 4 pi tai, where the wound was t reated. His condition is satisfactory. Sims was a casual kitchen hand, who had been paid off on Saturday. Ho has no known relative in tho Dominion.
