THE ROBIN.
(Sent by Inez Gopperth.i I saw a robin hopping on The grass to-day; His beady eyes looked up at me, In such a way. That I forgot the bitter winds,
And winter weather;. The robin and the spring and I, Belong together. The robin and the spring and I, All felt like humming — It was as if, throughout the world,
New faith were coming. New faith and springtime, ah, they
wait, Each year to greet us, To tell us that no winter world, could unite defeat us.
