Two brothers, Norman and Lawrence Menard, both under 20 years of age, were hanged together at the Bordeaux gaol to-day for the murder of John Durham, cashier, in an attempted holdup during a blizzard in February. At the trial both boys were impudent and defiant. By a coincidence the hangings took place during a snow storm. Both had previously served sentences for hold-ups.
