PERSONNEL OF THE TEAMS..In view of the large number of representative cricket matches .in prospect, the finish , of the ■ Old 1 Boys—Western Park i club, match has been postponed, and, in. its place a. trial match between two strong North Taranaki teams will take place -at Pukekura Park to-day, commencing . at-. 10.30 a.m. In view of the fact that a number of the town players' will not be available until 1.30 p.ni., 12 players have been included in each team, and an extra plaver has been obtained for the morning* The luncheon adjournment will be taken from 12.45 p.m. until 1.30 p.m., by which time it has been arranged that all players not present in the morning will be in attendance. One team includes five of the most promising country players, and as they have all signified their ability to be present, an interesting indication should be given, of their respective merits as compared with the town players. The teams have been specially arranged so that the strength is as evenly divided as possible under the circumstances. Stan Giddy will keep wi diets for the A team, and P. Hawkins for the B . team. The two slow bowlers, Nasmith and Ewart, will be on opposite sides, as also the two fast bowlers. Fookes and Petty. Nasmith has been appointed captain of the A team and Haughton captain of the B team, but as Haughton will not be available until the afternoon Kinsella will acts in his place until he arrives. All the players with the exception of one in the A team have intimated that they will be on the ground at 10.30 a.m., and as the B team will be well sho-t until luncheon, it Ik been decided that this team v... bat first.
