NEW SITE FOR HOTEL
COMMITTEE REJECTS REQUEST.

Palmerston North, Last Night.
The Licensing Committee to-day heard an application by Harry Burrows for the removal of the license of the Post Office Hotel, which was recently-partly destroyed by fire, and of which the site was acquired for a new theatre, to a site in King Street.
The chairman stated that the committee considered that the proposed site was unsuitable, ..nd also that another hotel was not required in the neighbourhood. The application was refused.
