EARTHQUAKE AT WESTPORT

HOUSES SEVERELY SHAKEN. By Telegraph.—Pre® Association. Westport, Nov. 23. The worst earthquake for . three months shook Westport about 3.45 this morning. Its coming was heralded by loud rumblings. Houses were well shaken, crockery rattlin K , and in some cases falling on the floor. The shake lasted for the best part of a minute and finished with a twisting movement. Yesterday evening about eleven o’clock a very loud booming was heard, but no shake accompanied the noise. Many people are feeling nervous as a result of this morning’s shake.
