CLAIMS FOR DEBT HEARD
JUDGMENTS IN NEW PLYMOUTH. Judgment by default was given in the following undefended civil cases at the New Plymouth Magistrate’s Court yesterday: Taranaki Hospital Board v. John McLeod, £8 14s 6d (costs 30s 6d); Roy, Nicholson and Bennett v, A. Moody, £5 5s (costs 31s Cd). At the suit of Taranaki Agencies, W. Haslett was ordered to pay £2l 5s (costs 31s Cd) forthwith, in default 14 days’ imprisonment, the wart’ant to be suspended as long as the defendant pays a week until May 21 and thereafter £1 a week. . .
