UNIQUE GOLFING COURSE
LATEST LONDON WONDER. London, Oct. 1. An 18-hole putting golf course, almost level with the top of tho Nelson Monument, is only one of the features of the roof garden at Adelaide House, London Bridge, which is the hobby of Mr. Richard Tilden-Smith, a former Sydney resident, and colliery owner, who sent the Kentish miners Walter Roone and John Crane to Russia to study conditions there.
The garden occupies an acre, and includes fruit trees, flower hedges and beautiful lawns, which are green, despite the drought.
