COPIES OF WEATHER CHARTS. Berlin, Oct. 3. Using a special receiver, a Lufthansa passenger aeroplane picked up ■wireless-ly-transmitted photographs of weather charts, the pilot thus being enabled to see where he could expect favourable, or unfavourable weather. The experiment is expected to lead to the equipping of all passenger aeroplanes with similar apparatus, adding tremendously to the safety of flying.
