GIRLS ADVISED TO MIGRATE

London, Oct. 9 Pointing out that the prospects of marriage for young women in the Dominions were much rosier than' in Britain, Lord Ponsonby, broadcasting from 2LO, said women were wanted not only as household assistants but for all professions. Letters from girl migrants showed British girls were welcomed in the Dominions. Australia had more men than women, Britain 2,000,000 more women than men. The untrue reports that Britain was attempting to drive out men and women with a view to lessening unemployment had created suspicion in the Dominions. This interfered with the natural flow of population.
