. TARANAKI v. ENGLISH TEAM. ALTERATION IN DATES PROPOSED Owing to the fact that the M.C.C. cricket team which is visiting New Zealand during the coming season Jias to leave not later than March 1, which was not anticipated, a re-arrangement of the- itinerary has been rendered necessary, and the New Zealand Cricket Council has- telegraphed the Taranaki Cricket Association asking it ( to accept Saturday, and Monday, February 22 and 24, as the dates for its match against the visitors. The dates previously allotted were January 31 and February 1.
