TAXI DRIVER DISAPPEARS

CAR FOUND ON RIVER W’HARF. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cambridge, Oct. 4. Benjamin Seabourn, aged 45, a taxi driver, and a well-known and respected resident, is missing. About 9.15 o’clock last night his car was found by the poliee at the wharf on the Waikato River. His hat and £3 were left on the seat of the car. The police made, a thorough search, but there was no sign of Seabourn. All the evidence points to a suicide. At 8.30 p.m. he handed a note to a friend to deliver to the police which contained a message that he intended going down to the rivar. 1 Seabourn is married and is a returned soldier. His only son, aged 22, is now in England taking a flying course.
