For some years past, the Sun has made a feature of these story and verse competitions, and last year over .300 manuscripts were received from various parts of the Dominion. This year a photographic competition has been added. Intending competitors are notified by an announcement in another column that entries close with the editor of The Sun, Auckland or Christchurch, on November 29. Mr. Robert Climie, Labour member__o£ the British House of Commons for Kilmarnock, has died, reports the United er vice from London.
