DEATH OF POUNDKEEPER
FATALLY INJURED BY HORSE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cambridge, Last Night. At the Waikato hospital this morning the death occurred of James Norries, 00 years of age, of Cambridge. Norries’ death was due to an accident on Saturday evening in a yard near his home in Grey Street, when, it is thought, he was kicked by a horse. The injured man was found lying, in the yard in an unconscious condition and with a severe wound in the head and apparent internal injury from which he never regained consciousness. Deceased had resided, in Cambridge for many years. He had been the borough poundkeeper for alengthy period. He° leaves a widow and one daughter.
