The cruisers Memphis and Trenton departed to-day to meet the Berengaria off the Nantucket light and escort her to New York as the first honour shown to Mr. Ramsay MacDonald. Congratulatory messages continue to pour in bn Mr. MacDonald. Miss Ishbel MacDonald said she and her father were enjoying experimenting with American food. 'She said she hoped to have an opportunity in America to observe the working-class people amusing themselves.
