THAMES HOUSE DESTROYED

NOTHING SAVED KROM FLAMES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Thames, Oct. 3. A nine-roomed two-storey residence, situated within the borough but beyond the racecourse, was destroyed by fire at 10.50 last night. It was owned by T. Miles (?f Waihi, and was occupied by Mrs. Cameron, who was alone in the house. She is unable to say how the fire originated. Nothing was saved as there was no water. The brigade went out, but could do nothing.
