CARD SOCIAL EVENING
FIRE BRIGADE SCORE AGAIN'. As firefighters and as social ; “lions” the members of the New. Plymouth Fire Brigade have proved themselves at home, and as card players they have proved that they can hold their own with most teams, in New Plymouth at least. Last night they again recorded a victory when they disposed of a team from the New Plymouth electric light department in a return match, the winning margin being 18 points.
A feature of the match was a contest in the 500 division, when a new record was established, one quartette playing 15 games in the allotted two hours.
