LONGEST ROUTE IN THE WORLD.

The Daily Express states that the Imperial Airways scheme for a regular air service between London and the Cape is now complete, and merely awaits the result of negotiations with the Governments of countries over ■which the planes will pass. The service, which is of 8000 miles, is the longest in the -world and will be a weekly trip jn each lt will occupy nine days and will follow the England to India route as far as Egypt, where it will turn southward along the Nile for a considerable distance. Flying boats will bo used for the Mediterranean, also on part of the African section, making four changes of machines.
