LAND AGENT TO BE TRIED
ALLEGATION OF FRAUDULENCE.

Wellington, July 24. Theodore Melville Jennens, land and estate agent, charged with fraudulently converting to his own use £56 received from Nancy Harcourt, in his capacity as land agent, came before Mr. McNeil, S.M., to-day. After evidence had been given he pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. Bail was allowed, accused to report daily to the police.
