SUICIDE OF AGED WIDOW
TRAGEDY IN CHRISTCHURCH HOME

Christchurch, Last Night.
A widow, Matilda Morgan, aged 68, was found dead at the residence of her niece in Cornwall Street, St. Albans, on Sunday afternoon. The body lay in the bathroom of the house with a deep wound in the throat.
At the inquest to-day evidence was given that Mrs. Morgan* took afternoon tea, left her niece and went to the bathroom. A search was made for her after only a- few minutes. She was found lying dead. The verdict was that Mrs. Morgan suicided while of unsound mind.
