STATE HELP FOR SPECIAL SCHOOS By Telegraph.—Press Association.' Auckland, Last Night. Replying to a deputation which sought a larger school in Auckland for deaf children and those suffering from defective speech, the Minister of Education (Hon. H. Atmore) promised additional assistance for the present school, which is attached to the Newton East school. He said he would discuss with Cabinet the possibility of the establishment of a special school. . .
