CONTRACT FOR SHIP SERVICE.
ANNUAL SUBSIDY 92,400 DOLLARS.

James Malcolm, announced to-day that the complete service from British Cohim bia ports to Australia had been awarded to the Australian British Columbia C °Th P e an C ontract is for t" hrce years, and the annual subsidy paid by the Government 92,400 dollars. The steamships will be of at least 7000 tons deadof a capacity able to carry an average of 4,000,000 feet oi lumbei. AU ‘are to be on the British register.
