GENEROUS BEQUESTS MADE
NELSON BOOKSELLERS’ WILL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. Under the will of the late Jesse Ernest Hounsell, bookseller of Nelson, the following legacies have been bequeathed, payable on the termination of certain prior interests: Nelson, Institute, Salvation Army, Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and Children, St. Andrew’s Orphanage, ’ the Society for tho Prevention ;of Cruelty to Animals, Auckland Point School, Central School and Hampden School, each £100; College governors, £5OO for the purpose of founding and establishing a scholarship at the Nelson Boys’ College, and a similar amount for a scholarship for the Girls’ College. The residue of the estate is to be. divided into two equal parts, one share for tho Tahuna. Sands Association, should it be in existence at a certain time, and the other share for the trustees of the Nelson Anglican Cathedral fund.
