Mrs. W. H. Young and Mrs. Budge leave for Wellington on Monday to attend the Dominion conference of the women’s division of the Farmers’ Union.

Mrs. Young was hostess at a bridge party last Saturday night for Mrs. Fredric.

Miss Dorothy Riddle, Nonnanby, gave a most enjoyable little dance on Monday night. Those who motored from Stratford were Miss A. Riera, Miss M. Porritt, Miss M. Malone, Misses IL and P. Abraham and Miss N. Spence.

Mrs. E. Young was hostess at bridge on Wednesday night. The guests were Mi's. Beale, Mrs. Macalister, Mrs. Pitt, Mrs. Jardine, Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Kay, Mrs. 0. Curtis, Mrs. L. Curtis, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. R. Curtis, Mrs. Furrie.

On Thursday night some of the staff of S. Mary’s school gave two delightful little plays at the school in aid of the earthquake fund. Those taking part were Mrs. Uniacke, Miss Joyce Beale,' Miss Betty Willis, Miss Anita Riera, and Miss Helen Abraham.
