TRAWLER CREW ON STRIKE
PROTEST AGAINST CONDITIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, July 18. With a posse of police within easy call .the trawler James Cosgrave is ready to go to sea with free labour, the crew having struck work at 7 'o’clock this morning as a protest against what they consider the adverse conditions oi employment. • The strike is the result of a. secret ballot taken amongst the unionists of Sanford and Company’s four trawlers. The main bone of contention is shoie leave. *
