POLICE FORCE TRANSFERS

TARANAKI DISTRICT CHANGES. Advice of the transfer of several police officers in the Taranaki district have been received by Inspector Fraser. An extra constable has been appointed to the New Plymouth station. The changes are as follow: — Constable Brcrichley, Rahotu, is promoted to the rank of sergeant, and transferred to Auckland. Constable Small, New Plymouth, is transferred to the charge of the Rahotu station. Constable W- G. Wilson, Wellington, fills the vacancy at New Plymouth caused by the transfer of Constable Small. - \ Constable G. E. Stanton, Wellington, is appointed as an additional officer to the New Plymouth staff. Constable T. Donovan, Wellington, is appointed to fill a vacancy on the staff of tho Hawera station.
