SEA LEOPARD IN WELLINGTON
KAKE VISITOR CAUGHT I'oll ZOO. By Telegraph.—Preas Association. Wellington, Last Night. A rare visitor to Wellington, a sea leopard, was found on the beach in Evans Bay near the power-house this morning. It was nearly full grown and appeared to be uninjured but hungry as it was moving restlessly- about and opening its mouth at the approach of human beings. A good deal of interest was taken in the unusual visitor until its departure on a motor-lorry for the zoo. A sea leopard has been seen about the harbour several times during the past fortnight, but this is said to be the first time one has been noticed ashore.
