WOMEN’S HOCKEY MATCH.
RAMBLERS BEAT AUROA. The Ramblers women’s hockey team defeated Auroa by four goals to nil at Hawera Park yesterday. Scores for the winners were made by Miss M. Woolliams and Miss R. Burn, two each. In the first spell the game was fairly even, Ramblers shooting one goal after a hard struggle. The second half showed better play by Ramblers, who attacked well, but Auroa players also shone in their defensive work, Mr. D. Burgess refereed.
