APPEAL BY UNEMPLOYED
POSITION IN CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, July 16. At a mass meeting of unemployed this morning, it was decided to telegraph to the Premier that the position of the unemployed is desperate in the city. “In the name of suffering humanity we earnestly urge the Government to subsidise £ for £ all moneys expended on approved relief works.”
