“NOT FIT TO BE ON ROAD”
SERVICE DRIVER NEGLIGENT. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Palmerston N., July 15. ‘’This man is not fit to be on the road. He has had two accidents in six months and offered no explanation. It may be his eyesight, it may be carelessness.” Mr. Stout, S.M., thus commented in the Magistrate’s Court when two charges of alleged negligent driving were preferred against J. O’Leary, service car driver. Defendant’s license was cancelled until June 1, 1939, and fines were also inflicted.
