NEW PLYMOUTH HARRIERS

WEEKLY TRAINING RUN HELD. Twenty members of the New Plymouth Harrier Club assembled at the East End beach on Saturday afternoon for the weekly training run, J. Warner and G. Lander making the pace. The route taken lay up the Henui stream to about half a mile past the old waterworks, whfire the run was directed across country to strike Avenue Road about half a mile below Te Henui bridge, thence to East End. The cross-country part was very slippery, with plenty of mud which, from the harriers’ point of view, all went io make a successful run. Next week the harriers meet at Fitzroy beach.
