BUS KILLS VALUABLE SHEEP
RAN INTO FLOCK ON BRIDGE. By Telegraph—Prcsa Association. Wellington, July 12. A railway bus driven by a man named Partington ran into a flock of valuable Southdowns on a pipe bridge over the Hutt River and killed eight. The loss to the owner, Cottle, who had just purchased the sheep from the breeder, Leighton, is stated to bo severe, the value running into some liundreda.
