His Majesty spent the morning in the gardens of . the Palace, enjoying the bright sunshine. He gave audience to Mr, Jack Hayes, M.P., Controller of the Household, who handed him the Address from the Commons in reply to the Speech from the Throne. Mr. Hayes, who was in morning dress, stayed 20 minutes. He is the first official visitor since the Sandringham journey was postponed.
