MAN KILLED BY MOTOR-CAR
FINE FOR FAULTY BRAKES. ■ By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, July 12. As the sequel to a fatality in the city last month, when a man was run over, John Hancock, the driver of the motorcar concerned, was to-day find 10s and costs, on the charge of having faulty brakes on the car. The police , said t’ ie condition of the car was shocking.
